Hi, I’m Sarah, founder of The Decorating Club. I’m also a creative designer, wife to my husband Tommy and mommy to our 4 kids; Maddie, Collin, Darcy and Katie. I love my family and my crazy busy life, but at times have questioned my next steps. Being a part of The Decorating Club has allowed me to look beyond where I am, to where life wants me to be. Now that I have a voice and a platform to speak from, I will be using it to share decorating and entertaining DIY’s with you. Also I look forward to posting before and after photos of your projects. Oh, and if you want to learn more about how to start your own Decorating Club you’ve come to the right spot.
Besides my husband, Steve, our four children have been the center of my universe for as long as I can remember. Growing up as an only child proved lonely at times but with a house full of kids my adult years have been anything but. Yet, now that they have all flown the coop it’s time for me to focus on redefining me. I hope you’ll join along as I look at life from a full glass mentality.
Hello, I’m Maggie. I’m married and have one daughter. My husband’s name is Mark and he is one of a select group of Air Force pilots who share a special assignment. My daughter’s name is Daniella and is currently in high school. She and I didn’t see eye to eye for a while but I’m happy to say we couldn’t be closer now. Recently, I decided to make a change and adopt a healthier new lifestyle. Keep an eye out for my posts as I’m going to share how to have your cake and eat it too.
Being an operating room nurse has opened my eyes to just how short life really is. Yet, instead of living my life to the fullest, I was guilty of giving into Fear and letting it prevent me from moving forward. Today, I’m living my own happily ever after with my husband Paul and baby girl, while encouraging other women not to settle for anything less than their own fairytale.
My name is Tabatha and my husband Eric is the love of my life. Followed closely by our twin grandsons, Taylor and Ryan. In my earlier years, I was a cheerleader for a professional football team. I loved those days especially when our team was losing. For it made me realize that everything happens for a reason and regardless of the score, we must never give up. Looking for a dose of positivity? … then follow my posts as I cheer you on.
My experience with The Decorating Club has allowed me to see past the fine china and lace to what’s really important in life. I’m blessed to be the mom to my three children; Elizabeth, Thomas and James and the wife to my husband; David. I am humbled to share this world with approx 7.8 billion others and have now made it my passion to learn about the customs and homelands of some of them. Based on Sarah’s philosophy of Decorating in 3D I plan on turning the empty rooms of our home into destination representations and I hope you’ll follow along.
Greetings! My name is Reshma and I’m from Bombay. As a young girl I spent a lot of time drawing pictures of brides in love; while all along hoping that would be me one day. Years later, I traveled to America. During my stay I became very interested in the many local products and their packaging and began drawing them as a way of familiarizing myself with the American culture. Unbeknownst to me at the time, my family was busy planning an arranged marriage for when I returned. Instead while living in Ohio, I met Anil Patel and we married for love. I’m looking forward to sharing pictures of my new art with you along with some traditional Indian recipes taught to me by my mother.
